Tewkesbury Farmers’ Markets
Where? Abbey Lawn Car Park (off The Crescent, Church Street, Tewkesbury)
There will be a request bus stop for Boomerang, Borough Bus and the Evesham–Cheltenham Bus on Market Days
When? Every second Saturday in the month from 9am–2pm commencing on 11 August 2001
Supplying locally produced, high quality food - meat, meat products, fish, fruit, vegetables, herbs, plants, honey, cakes etc, etc. All produce will be of the highest quality and all animal products will have been produced in a welfare-friendly way.
In addition, all goods will have been produced within a 30 -mile radius of Tewkesbury. The farmers and producers will be selling the food themselves directly to the customers so the customers can talk to the farmers about how it was produced and can ask them for other things that they would like to buy.
It is hoped that these Markets will be good for farmer, consumer and the environment alike, as well as being an enjoyable social occasion. | |
