MARINA PLANS BACKED BY PLANNING OFFICERS Housing plans recommended for approval.
Plans to build eight more houses on land at Tewkesbury Marina are being recommended by planning officers.
The scheme for eight, 3 & 4 bedroomed houses, with decks overhanging the water in the marina, will come before the enforcement and development committee on Tuesday, August 15th.
The application is opposed by 26 of the 27 existing residents on the site.
They say that the new, three storey, houses will dwarf the much smaller existing ones and block their views. They also say that the development will add to the problems with the already overloaded sewage system.
The matter came before the committee at its meeting last month, but members deferred any decision for a site inspection visit.
