Judging date set for Tewkesbury in Bloom Local people urged to meet the judges
Everyone is being urged to do their best to ensure that the town is looking its best for July 25, the day the town will be judged for the Britain in Bloom competition.
Nickie Philipson-Stow, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, wants everyone to put up hanging baskets and window boxes, pull up weeds and pick up litter to give the town the best possible chance in this year's competition.
She would also like as many people as possible to be in the crescent in Church Street at 3.30pm to greet the judges. "Apparently, they like to have the fact that they are in town acknowledged - and it would be lovely to have as many children as possible waving flags to meet them" she said.
