The dressing up of a well-known Tewkesbury character proved a real winner in the Medieval Festival and Tewkesbury in Bloom window dressing competition.
Sally Brazdys of Abbey Antiques won the trophy for the best display. Her display featured the resident crocodile, decked in armour and ready to do battle. The crocodile has stood outside her shop for more than 30 years.
There were 27 entries for the competition, which was held for the first time this year. Andrew Lawrence of Tewkesbury Medieval Festival and Town Mayor, Councillor Peter Randell judged the window displays. Mr Laurence said: "The overall standard was very high and choosing a winner was very difficult”.
