Barbara Cromwell, chairman of the organising Liaison Group said: "Last year's display cost £6,000. We only got £2,000 in the bucket collection, and both the town and borough councils have cut our grants to a third. We don't want to give people less of display than we had last year, so we are looking for something different that is within our budget. Any suggestions would be very welcome."
