Tape Plan to mark Museum Anniversary Visitors will hear John Moore's words.
The countryside museum, named after the town's best known author and naturalist, celebrates its 20th birthday this year.
To celebrate the occasion, well known people are putting extracts from John Moore's work on tape, to be played over the museum's sound system.
Readers will include Jonathon Porritt, Sir Ludovic Kennedy, TV presenter Chris Packham and museum curator Simon Lawton.
Many of the readers have chosen their own favourite extract from John's work.
Simon Lawton said: "They are all about Tewkesbury, the countryside and conservation. Hearing the pieces will bring them much more to life than just reading them from a sheet."
He added that the tape is being edited and produced for the museum by BBC Radio Gloucester. It is being made especially to be played in the museum, but if there is enough demand copies may be made for sale.
