Right Royal Day for Tewkesbury Head. Headmaster Paul Cotter, of Tewkesbury was chosen to represent headteachers throughout Gloucestershire at Royal reception recently.
Together with heads, teachers and governors from schools all over the country he met Her Majesty the Queen, Prince's Edward and Andrew, and Secretary of State for Education, David Blunkett MP.
Mr Cotter said:
"It was a wonderful occasion and a way of celebrating achievement in education. I was delighted to be chosen. I believe it was because Tewkesbury School was granted beacon status last year."
