Ashchurch Army Vehicles on Mercy Mission Defence secretary drops in.
Landrovers, tractors, bulldozers and other vehicles worth a total of £500,000 were handed over to the HALO Trust and Mines Action Group.
They will be used for mine clearance work in places including Kosova, Cambodia and Mozambique.
Before being shipped out they will be strengthened and armoured to protect the drivers.
Secretary of State for Defence, The Rt Hon Geoffrey Hoon dropped into Ashchurch camp by helicopter on Wednesday morning to hand over the 66 vehicles to representatives from the two charities.
He said; "Donating surplus military equipment is a way this Government can make a real contribution to humanitarian mine clearing work around the world."
He praised staff at the camp who had worked hard preparing the vehicles, before handing them over to representatives of the charities.
They said that using the vehicles would speed up mine clearance work by at least three times.
