Tewkesbury Town Band hits the high notes
Promotion hopes high after regional contest.

They beat 26 other bands from the region to win the place.

Spokesman Betty Ellis said: "If we continue to do this well we stand a good chance of being promoted next year."

At the moment the band plays in the fourth division.

Hot on the heels of their success at Bristol they are off to Marlborough on Sunday, (April 9) to take part in an entertainment competition, when they will play a twenty minute slot.
