MP Praises Tewkesbury Web Site Laurence Robertson performs opening ceremony
He was performing the opening ceremony of this site in the Fitzhamon Room at Tewkesbury Abbey last Friday 10th March 2000.
He admitted to being completely computer illiterate and saying that at a recent visit to the GLOSCAT Centre in Tewkesbury, he felt he should sign up for a course.
He said that even knowing so little about computers, he could see this was something very good for the town and found it exciting that something that started in Tewkesbury, could potentially spread across the country.
He then cut a crimson ribbon to declare the site officially open!
