Mercy Mission Accomplished School funded ambulance delivered
The school gave £4000 from its annual charity fortnight to Tewkesbury Independent Aid.
They used the money to deliver an ambulance full of medical equipment donated by Rapid Response UK.
Now Roger Laycock, who drove the vehicle over 2000 miles has delivered it to a very grateful medical team and is on his way home. He is expected back sometime this weekend (March 17/18)
Speaking from Kosova he said: "They were absolutely delighted when they saw what we had brought them. The hospital was stripped by the Serbs before they left, so they are desperate for any medical equipment we can give them."
The rest of the money from the school will be used to fund another aid delivery later in the year.
