Tewkesbury's battlefield will be getting a spring clean.
Members of the Battlefield Society will be picking up litter and generally tidying up the Bloody Meadow on Sunday February 26.
If enough volunteers turn up they will spread themselves to tidy up more of the battle trail.
Chairman Steve Goodchild said: "A lot of rubbish gets washed into the field during the floods. If we do not get it now the brambles will grow around it, making litter picking impossible."
The tidy up is not limited to members of the society. Volunteers will be more than welcome on the site, from 10am.
