SMALL BUT FAIR Model Show Planned for Fair Weekend
Around 100 model fair vehicles will form the centrepiece of a model show organised for Tewkesbury. The models, hand-built to 1/50th scale by local enthusiasts John Jennings and Bill Lane, make up a fair transport pull on, and will be on show for the first time. Another attraction will be a working model of Chipperfield's Circus, made in Evesham. A range of other exhibits, including a hand turned organ, will help fill Holy Trinity Church Hall on Saturday October 7, whilst on the forecourt will be a display of vintage motorcycles. The Model Show runs from 10am to 4.30 pm. It is being organised by the Tewkesbury Fair Society.
