Adding
an Entry for your Business or Organisation on Tewkesbury.net
After Clicking on the 'Log on' button, an explanation screen will
appear, providing you with information about Tewkesbury.net and
what it can do for you and your business or organisation.
Having read this, view the Terms & Conditions for registering
on Tewkesbury.net and then click on 'I Accept' if this is so.
You are now ready to register your business.
Stage One
Before you enter the details of your business, you need to first
choose both a Username and Password. You will need to enter your
password twice to verify that it has been typed correctly. Should
your chosen Username be found to have been taken, you will be
asked to provide a different Username. Please make a note of your
chosen Username and Password as they are required to allow you
to change your details. (Note that they are both case sensitive,
therefore, check whether the Caps Lock key on your keyboard is
on or off prior to typing).
Stage Two
You are now asked for some details about the person at your organisation
we can contact to confirm your Entry. You are then asked to give
information about your business. This information will make up
your Tewkesbury.net Entry.
At the bottom of the page you are requested to show if you are
a non-profit making organisation. If you are, this entitles you
to discounts on the cost of your Entry. You are also asked if
you require to have an Extended Entry. This allows you, for an
extra cost, to have more functionality with your Entry, such as
longer descriptions, more information, pictures, events and 360
degree immersive imaging (IPIX).
Stage Three
You can now define how your Entry looks and where it will appear.
After entering a description of your business (max 255 chars)
you can enter Keywords relating to your business. These are not
shown on Tewkesbury.net, but are used by visitors when searching
for relevant Entries.
Next you need to choose where you would like your Entry placed
within Tewkesbury.net. This is achieved by selecting appropriate
categories from the list.
To
select more than one category using a PC, hold the 'Ctrl' key
when clicking on your choices. You may also suggest a new category
if none of the others are appropriate.
If you are a non-profit organisation you will also be asked for
sponsorship information. Here you should input the name of your
sponsor, choose their Internet location, (Tewkesbury.net, if they
have their own Tewkesbury.net Entry) and also check the payment
received box if your sponsor has paid their donation to you.
Stage Four
Here you can select which Extended Entry elements you require.
If you choose to have an extended description, you can enter the
information now. You can also choose where to show your Extended
Entry. If you choose events, you can add your own events to the
Tewkesbury.net events list. Should you select a photo or 360 image,
the Tewkesbury.net administrator will be in contact with you to
arrange photography.
Stage Five
You have now registered your Entry. Your Username is displayed,
as well as your Entry ID. Please make a note of these as they
will be required when corresponding or querying your account.
